Red Fort Delhi India
Day 1 – Arrive Delhi – Jaipur (250 Kilometer – 5 Hrs)

Arrive in Delhi at Indira Gandhi International Airport. After Indian style greeting, Swagat’ (Welcome), our SOS Travel House airport representative would assist your transfer from airport to designated hotel.

After wash and change and breakfast at the hotel in Delhi we will check out and proceed for sightseeing of Delhi.

A half Day sightseeing tour of Delhi will cover some important UNESCO heritage sites Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, and also Lotus temple (Closed on Monday).

Later we depart for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan also known as The Pink city. On reaching, our representative will assist you to check-in at your hotel in Jaipur.

Day 2 – Jaipur Tour

Early morning after breakfast we drive to Amber, the capital of the brave Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. You may ride the elephant back to reach the Fort situated on the hill top and later visit the Fort Palace. We return by jeep & continue our sightseeing including a visit to the City PalaceBirla Temple, the astronomical Observatory (Jantar Mantar) and the Hawa mahal (Palace of Winds). Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Optional Excursion to Chokhi Dhani:

Today you may take an evening excursion to Chokhi Dhani complex, a Rajasthani ethnic village resort at a distance of 15 km from Jaipur city. An evening at Chokhi Dhani is special with an experience Rajasthani village atmosphere including, the entertainment by traditional Rajasthani folk dancers and musicians. The guests experience is simply captivating absorbing a kaleidoscope of colours, street performances and you may opt for traditional Rajasthani cuisine. Overnight stay at Jaipur Hotel.

Fatehpur Sikri India
Day 3 – Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (260 Kilometer / 6 hrs)

After breakfast & check out, we drive to Agra. En route we stop at Fatehpur Sikri, it is a masterpiece sculpted in sandstone with the stunning elegance of its palaces and courts. Further proceed to Agra, upon arrival we help your check-in at our hotel at Agra. In the evening enjoy the magic show performed by the local magician. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

Taj Mahal Agra India
Day 4 – Agra – Mathura and Vrindavan – Agra (60 km / 1.5 hrs / One way)

Agra, was capital of the Mughals & known for Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal has fascinated Indians & foreigners alike.  Agra is located on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort & Taj Mahal at its centre. Taj Mahal -the symbol of love is simply one of its kind creations by mankind.

After breakfast, we depart early to see the incredible architectural marvel, The Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday), it was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahallater visit Agra Fort, built as a military establishment by Akbar the great in 1565The Agra Fort built with red sand stone was partially converted into a palace during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan. The Fort is 2.5 km long & is considered as the inspiration for building of the Delhi Red Fort.

in the afternoon we reach Sikandara, Akbar’s tomb and later travel to Mathura (Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple), Vrindavan (Bankey Bihari Temple & ISKCON Temple) (Temples remain closed from 1200–1600 hrs), The temples are related with birth & childhood of Lord Krishna the architect of Shrimat Bhagwat Gita. In the evening return to Agra. Overnight at Hotel- Agra.

Gwalior Fort Madhya Pradesh India
Day 5 – Agra – Gwalior (Shatabdi Express Dep. at 08:00-09:30 hrs.)

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to railway station to board your train for Gwalior. Upon arrival, transferred and check-in at hotel in Gwalior.

Gwalior, the city dates back to 8th century and is a montage of the Rajput ‘s. The Pratihasas, the Kachwahas and the Tomars, each left their marks on the city’s glorious monuments. In the afternoon your guide will help in sightseeing of Gwalior which includes visits to the Fort of Gwalior, The Jaivilas Palace and The tombs of Ghaus Mohamed and the famous musician Tansen. Evening free at leisure with overnight stay at hotel in Gawalior.

Amar Mahal Orchha India
Day 6 – Gwalior – Orchha (120 kilometers/ 03 hrs)

Morning post breakfast we drive to Orchha. Orchha a medieval town is located on banks of The Betwa River. The palaces and temples built in 16th century by its Bundela rulers appear to be on hold in time.  Upon arrival check-in hotel at Orcha.

we will visit the Orchha Fort, Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal and Ram Raja temple (where lord Rama is treated as a king).

Khajuraho Temples Madhya Pradesh India
Day 7 – Orchha – Khajuraho (160 kilometers / 04 hrs)

Morning after breakfast check out and we travel to Khajuraho, better known for its magnificent temples that are among the finest examples of the Indian architecture and the forward thinking socitey. Built between 950 and 1050 A.D, only 22 temples of the 85 now survive. Khajuraho sculpture is uplifting and sensuous, the centre of new imagery in art. The popular melody is the woman: thoughtful, spirited passionate. The carving also show case Griffins, Fairies, Beasts, Demons in rebellion, Gods in planetary evolution, anxiety, reservation, watchfulness, passionate love and consummate desire. Upon arrival assistance and check-in, the hotel at Khajuraho.

Late in the afternoon uour guide will take you for a sightseeing trip of the Khajuraho temples, built by the mighty kings of the Chandela dynasty, in a truly inspired rupture of inventiveness. The temples are famous for the magnificent wall sculptures depicting sexual postures of the famous “Kamasutra”, ancient Indian theory on sex. Worship is still done today at the Matangeshwara temple, ongoing and unbroken 1000-year tradition.

Varanasi India
Day 8 – Khajuraho – (By Flight) Varanasi – Excursion to Sarnath

Morning after breakfast, check out & transferred to Airport to board the flight for Varanasi, the holiest and oldest living the Hindu city, known for its Hindu traditional customs also known as the city of Death. u on arrival at Varanasi airport, check-in at our hotel at Varanasi.

Next, we leave for Sarnath at a distance of 12 Kms from Varanasi, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after Enlightenment. At Sarnath in the Ganges Valley of India, the Buddha announced the law of faith. It was here that he taught the core aspects of Buddhism and the four principle truths, the eight-fold path and the central way philosophy.  Buddha stimulated followers to avoid extremes of severity or desire. The remnants of monasteries dating from the third century B.C. to the first century C.E. indicate a flourishing monastic community.

New Delhi
Day 9 – Varanasi – Delhi (by Train)

Early morning before breakfast at 0500 hrs boat ride on the river Ganges. We rise before dawn and step gingerly in the boat as the boatman starts rowing the boat. We wait for the daily miracle to unfold, as the Sun appears gloriously over the horizon. The all-encompassing sound of conches and temple bells add to the subtle blushing fabric of dawn. The formerly quiet murmuring of ancient Sanskrit ‘Shlokas’ now increases, in one voice, to a swelling of unparalleled piousness and joy. We return to our hotel for breakfast.

Rest of the day is at leisure and free to explore the city on our own.  Later in the afternoon we drive to railway station to board the  train for Delhi.

Day 10 – Arrive New Delhi

In the morning we arrive at New Delhi railway station. Upon arrival SOS Travel House representative will meet and assist you to transfer you to your hotel.

Later in the day we take you for a sightseeing trip to Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat, & then drive around India Gate, war memorial President’s House.

Overnight Hotel- New Delhi.
